These weeks are about creating fertile ground where Heirloom can grow.
Months 2–4: Building the Hearth
The space comes alive. Desks, servers, whiteboards, and the energy of a team starting to gather.
The first hires step in, and the work of transforming vision into sketches and prototypes begins.
Months 4–6: Gathering the Builders
Our team expands as engineers and designers take their places at the table.
Together we shape the earliest versions of journaling and voice capture — the heart of Heirloom’s first edition.
Months 6–8: Shaping the Core
Prototypes sharpen into tools.
Voice becomes text, words settle into a journal, and the feedback loop begins. Private internal testing starts, letting us refine what works and rebuild what doesn’t.
Months 8–10: Refining the Craft
Iteration becomes the rhythm. Bugs are smoothed away, designs become cleaner, and journaling + voice capture approach readiness.
Small groups outside the team get a first taste of what’s coming.
Months 10–12: The First Harvest
At year’s end, Heirloom’s MVP arrives: journaling and voice capture polished for release.
This is the moment early adopters can finally begin weaving their own stories into Heirloom — the beginning of a living archive.
